Parke currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for MD Cress Ventures and is responsible for MD Cress Ventures overall financial management strategy, including the company’s financial reporting, cash forecasting and projections, investor reports, and competitive analysis. Parke also performs business plan development, financial forecasting, financial analysis, and capital commitment planning for the fund’s portfolio companies.
Additionally, he oversees preparation and review of due diligence packages for portfolio mergers, sales, and acquisitions, as well as directing daily operations of company specific clerical and accounting staff.
In conjunction to his work at MD Cress Ventures, Parke also operates as the CFO for the Austin based Rainier Healthcare, a unique continuum of post-acute healthcare companies including home health, hospice, respiratory DME, palliative care, and personal assistance services (PAS). Parke is responsible for Rainier Healthcare’s overall financial management strategy, including the company’s financial reporting, cash forecasting and projections, investor reports, and competitive analysis and benchmarking.
After receiving a dual degree in business and biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, Parke spent 6 years working in various financial and operational roles in the home health, private physician practice, and durable medical equipment sectors of the healthcare industry. Parke volunteers regularly at Learning Ally, an Austin-based non-profit that provides support for dyslexic and vision impaired individuals through recorded audiobooks and reading sessions, as well as serving as a dog runner/walker and general volunteer for the locally based non-profit Austin Pets Alive.
